About QuarterlyLandlord
QuarterlyLandlord is an independent website for UK landlords, especially people with one to five properties, who need to get to grips with Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax and related landlord admin.
What we do
- Free tools: the MTD checker, the software picker and a deadline calendar.
- Plain-English guides that link every rule to its source, mostly GOV.UK.
What we are not
- We are not accountants or tax advisers, and nothing here is tax advice.
- We are not HMRC and are not affiliated with HMRC or GOV.UK.
- We do not claim to have tested software hands-on unless a page says exactly what was tested and when. At present, nothing has been tested. All comparisons are desk research.
How we research
We read primary sources (GOV.UK guidance, HMRC statistics and vendor pricing pages), record the date we checked them, and re-review each page at least every 90 days or when rules change. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will correct it and note the change.
How we are funded
The site is free to use. In future some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. They will be clearly labelled. Free options are always shown, even though they earn us nothing. Read the affiliate disclosure.
