Affiliate disclosure

Current status: none of the links on this site are affiliate links yet. Outbound links go through addresses such as /go/xero/, which currently send you straight to the vendor’s normal website.

How we may earn money in future

We plan to apply to affiliate programmes run by some software vendors. If we are accepted, some /go/ links will become tracking links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link will be marked Ad link and coded rel="sponsored".

Our rules

• We always show free options, including HMRC’s software finder, even though they earn us nothing.
• Commission never decides whether a product is included or how it is described. Our table records the facts as published by each vendor, with the date and source.
• We never invent reviews, testimonials, test results or credentials.
• Vendors cannot pay to be listed or to change what we say.
