Terms of use

About these terms

This website is operated by an individual based in the United Kingdom, trading as QuarterlyLandlord (“we”). Contact: quarterlylandlord@gmail.com. By using it you agree to these terms. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer in another part of the UK.

Information, not advice

Our guides, checker and comparisons are general information based on published sources on the review date shown. They are not tax, legal, financial or accounting advice, and they do not take your full circumstances into account. Tax rules and product prices change. Check GOV.UK and the vendor before you act, and get professional advice if you are unsure. HMRC, not us, decides whether and when MTD applies to you.

Our liability

We take care to be accurate but cannot guarantee that the site is complete, current or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Third-party websites

We link to other websites, including software vendors. We are not responsible for their content, products or terms. Any purchase is between you and the vendor.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it in bulk. You may quote short extracts with a link back.

Intellectual property

The content and design are ours unless stated. GOV.UK content we quote is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Digital products we sell

The MTD Landlord Record Keeper (£12) is sold by QuarterlyLandlord (contact: quarterlylandlord@gmail.com) through the Payhip checkout, which is run by Payhip Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. You buy on Payhip’s hosted checkout at payhip.com, and your order is also subject to the licence Payhip shows there. Card payments are processed by Stripe. The total price, including any VAT, is shown at checkout before you pay. After payment, Payhip sends you a download link.

Cancellation: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel. For digital content that is supplied straight away, you lose that right once the download starts, but only if you agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged losing the right at checkout. We confirm your purchase by email.

If something is wrong: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn’t, contact us and we will fix or replace it, or refund you where the law requires. Email quarterlylandlord@gmail.com with your order details.

The product is a record-keeping aid, not MTD-compatible software and not tax advice. Licence: for the buyer’s own records; not for resale or redistribution.
